End of Year 5....have a lovely summer!
WWII grow your own....
Year 5 are making models of WWII gardens, complete with shelters.
In Year 5 we have been taking part in Forest School sessions. As you can see from the photos, your children are thoroughly enjoying being outdoors every Wednesday afternoon! Last week, we made dream catchers and used a rope swing. These sessions are brilliant! All children are taking part and having a great time. Watch out for more pictures...

Welcome to our Year 5 class page. Every child in our class has settled back so brilliantly and are all working hard! We have been reading Greek myths this half term and have enjoyed drawing, describing and writing stories about mythical creatures. Next half term we shall be reading and analysing The Highwayman. Our spellings will be set on Purple Mash and also sent home in homework books at regular intervals.
Our topic this term is the Ancient Greeks and we shall be learning more about this fascinating period of time. We shall be making our own versions of Greek pots too!
In maths, we shall continue to use White Rose and follow the plan from this scheme of work. Also, at regular intervals, My Maths homework will be set as well as in homework books.
