Support in the Community
ACL (Adult Community Learning part of Essex County Council) have places on their free English and maths courses that could benefit parents, grandparents and careers. These course could help you to support your children/grand children with:
Speaking on BBC Essex About their work on publicising the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child
At KHCPS, we believe that school should equip children with the emotional, social and academic skills they need to be an asset to their community. Developing a love of learning, caring for others, being respectful and fostering ambition are all central to our work.
The school has developed a culture of industry, with involvement in enterprise initiatives, including children designing and running their own charitable fundraising events.
This year, all classes have chosen a charity they would like to support. Each class will design a fundraising event for the whole school to participate in. The leading class will create a project plan, including marketing, costing, resources required and will create a time-scaled plan.
If you have a special interest in one of the following charities, or able to support the children in project management, please contact the class teacher or Nina McKay to offer your support. We are also particularly interested in working with local businesses is sharing skills and knowledge of small business management.
