Music

At Kelvedonhatch primary school it is our intent to promote an inclusive Music curriculum that provides opportunities for all children to develop as confident, ambitious and independent musicians.

It is our aim that all children enjoy Music and have the opportunity to progress their skills through: listening and appraising, singing and playing, improvising and composing.  Children also have the opportunity to experience music from around the world and songs in different languages to celebrate different cultures.

Children will acquire resilience and creativity through the music curriculum and there are a range of opportunities for extra-curricular activities linked to music including: choir, piano and ukelele lessons.
