Academy Conversion

Message from Chair of the Strategic Intervention Board 

Although it had been hoped that Kelvedon Hatch Community Primary School would convert to an academy on 01 September 2023, there has, unfortunately, been a delay.  The Strategic Intervention Board (SIB), colleagues from Discovery Educational Trust and Essex County Council are working to resolve this outstanding matter as soon as possible.  

Kelvedon Hatch Community Primary School therefore continues to operate as a Local Authority school and the SIB will assume responsibility for all governance arrangements at this time.
