.Our PTA organise a full calendar of events. Specific dates of forthcoming events can be found on the school's diary page.

Events include:

· Summer Fayre
· Junior disco
· Halloween party
· New year's eve party
· Xmas bazaar
· Fireworks display
· Summer ball
· Ladies' night
· Golf day
· Mothers day gifts
· Fathers day gifts

The PTA also takes responsibility for funding the swimming pool enabling all pupils to learn to swim as well as have fun swimming after school. Costs include the salary of a tutor, chemicals, cleaning and equipment.

A number of parents are trained in first aid and resuscitation and the PTA are appreciative of this support as otherwise it would be difficult to provide such an experience to the pupils.

The money raised by the PTA is put to good use by the school and the PTA receives guidance from Sue Dawson and her team on proposed spending plans. Major expenditure includes the purchase and construction of the Adventure Playground and routine expenditure includes Xmas trees and crackers, swimming badges, ice cream for all pupils during theatre trips, poets and story tellers visiting classes, sports team kits, CD's and drama costumes.

If you have an idea of what to spend money on that will benefit the pupils, then please discuss it with a PTA member.
